As we know, retailers have been hit particularly hard by the lockdowns this year, however Dymond Engineering is pleased to share some good news from one of their retail clients who took the brave decision to invest in a complete fit-out during the first lockdown.
Boxfit UK is one of the UK’s largest superstores for boxing equipment and accessories, selling both on line and from their physical store in Romford. They wanted to re-fit their store with a modern industrial look and commissioned Dymond Engineering to produce their floor and wall display units, and fittings for the cash till area.
Since they re-opened (prior to the second lockdown) Boxfit was delighted to report that footfall had increased with customers curious of the new store layout, and in spite of the COVID pandemic they experienced encouraging sales which they are sure is down to the new environment.
It’s a great example of a company using the lockdown to develop their business which is wonderful to hear.
