Lydia Wheeler wins prestigious Plastics Industry Award
Lydia Wheeler from ND Precision Products is celebrating having won a prestigious Plastics Industry Award in the Unsung Hero Category.
Actor, writer and celebrity quizzer Shaun Williamson, best known for playing Barry Evans in EastEnders for 10 years, revealed the 16 winners of the 2019 Plastics Industry Awards (PIAs) at a Greatest Show on Earth-themed black-tie event at the London Hilton on Park Lane on Friday 27th September.
Judges praised the hard work of Lydia and deemed her the most deserving of the title ‘Unsung Hero’ out of a category of 5 other finalists.
“I am very proud of Lydia and am delighted that her hard work has been recognised,” said Nick Squire, Managing Director.
Launched in 2001, and held annually in London, the Plastics Industry Awards are dedicated to rewarding innovation and exceptional performance in an increasingly competitive market. Sixteen categories cover materials usage, product design, manufacturing, training and environmental performance, and entries are judged by a panel of industry experts.
