The first in a set of funded business improvement workshops for NDMA members took place last week at Cotie, Barnstaple
Using a set of simplified manufacturing processes to analyse and develop lean thinking delegates applied their learnings within a group environment.
The full day, interactive workshop used a factory simulation to cover all aspects of Lean Manufacturing in a way that can relate back to individuals’ own businesses to use for their own Continuous Improvement (CI) Journey.
Feedback has been very positive so far:

The second workshop in the series, “Problem Solving” is currently underway and a third workshop in the series, “Efficiency vs Effectiveness” is due to take place early in 2025.
