The DPT Careers Hub was created in partnership with The Careers and Enterprise Company to transform careers education across Devon, Plymouth, and Torbay. By working with every state-funded secondary school, special educational needs school, alternative provision, and post-16 college, we connect students to local employers and provide high-quality career support to help them thrive.
Running from 25th February to 18th March, these sessions will guide you through every step of the apprenticeship application process.
Webinar 1: Apprenticeship Opportunities – Showcasing local employers and industries apprenticeship offerings and looking at skills required.
Webinar 2: CVs and Cover Letters – support for the first stage of the application process, what things to talk about and how to showcase your skills.
Webinar 3: Competency Based Interviews – Supporting students to excel with example-based questions either in person, virtually or a pre-recorded video interview.
Webinar 4: How to ace an Assessment Centre – using mock assessment centre activities that are used by a large amount of employers, supporting students to become more confident in this area.
