Beginning this week, Make UK have launched a short fortnightly survey to give us better insight into the extent to which manufacturers are: continuing to operate, furloughing their employees, accessing government-led financial support, and offer an indication of when trading conditions may return to normal once the lockdown ends.
We will share the data through a fortnightly Covid-19 Manufacturing Monitor, which will be available on our Covid-19 Hub webpage. We hope this will also act as a useful benchmarking tool to help understand how the sector is operating and will help us build a strong bank of data to support our messages to government.
