What is made in North Devon?
Business Action magazine knows that manufacturing is a major sector in North Devon, but is often invisible to the general public who look mainly for consumer products in shops.
That’s why we invite manufacturers to enter the North Devon Business Awards 2023 to help raise awareness both in the business and wider community.
In each of our first three years of the awards, the North Devon Business of the Year has been a manufacturer:
- The Clovelly Soap Company
- Smart Manufacturing
- Diamedica
and we want even more manufacturers to enter.
We have a specific category for manufacturing and engineering – the Made in North Devon Award.
We also have a category to recognise the area’s often unnoticed but impressive export performance – the International Trade & Exports Award.
And there are categories for Best Employer and Young Achiever to recognise apprentices, trainees and entrepreneurs.
