Engineering Manufacturing Technician Higher Apprenticeship
This level 4 apprenticeship is a robust progression route from level 3 Engineering related studies and the learner will be required to study a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Engineering. This apprenticeship will provide specialist technical support for engineers, so that organisations can develop, produce or test new/existing products, processes, or procedures to meet customer specification.
Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship
This level 3 apprenticeship contains elements of knowledge and practical skills for laboratory technicians who work in a wide range of organisations, including pharmaceutical, biotechnology and analytical science services. Laboratory technicians may carry out both routine and one-off laboratory testing and perform a variety of technical support functions across an organisation.
Technician Scientist Higher Apprenticeship
The level 4 apprenticeship provides essential knowledge and skills for progression as a technician or laboratory scientist in biomedical science, public health or food quality control. This apprenticeship course includes the Foundation Degree in Human Biosciences (FdSc) and gives progression to the third year of the BSc (Hons) Human Biosciences degree at the University of Plymouth.
Software Developer Higher Apprenticeship
This level 4 apprenticeship provides the perfect opportunity to gain knowledge and understanding of Software Development. The primary role of a software developer is to build and test simple, high quality code across front end, logic and database layers. A developer will typically be working as part of a larger team, in which they will have responsibility for some of the straightforward elements of the overall project.
Team Leader/Supervisor Apprenticeship
This level 3 apprenticeship has been designed to develop skills into the role of a team leader or supervisor. As a team leader, you will develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours to give guidance and leadership to a team to achieve outcomes. This flexible apprenticeship is delivered in partnership with Mindful Education and combines online learning with regular sessions with a college tutor.
