A Bideford business has been giving back to the community with a generous donation to Northern Devon Foodbank
Anglo dropped off boxes and bags filled with supplies at the Bideford foodbank in Pitt Lane on Wednesday after a six-week drive for donations.
Anglo’s social club chairman Neil Batty said: “We didn’t know how it would go, but people have been absolutely great, they’ve just donated and donated.
“We just wanted to do something for the community. We support the local community in projects and work experience and apprenticeships and we just wanted to give something back.
Committee member Shona Endean added: “We also know it’s not just for Christmas so we are going to carry on doing this throughout the year.”
